Red Hot Chilli Pipers
Second show added by popular demand!
Watch the PBS Special on WGBY Saturday, August 28th at 6:30pm and again at 9:00pm!
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers take traditional Scottish bagpiping and put a modern spin on it. With appropriate roots in their native Scotland, the Chilli Pipers formed in 2004, performing at T in the Park with the festival's headlining band, The Darkness.
After buzz about the hard-rocking pipers began escalating, the group hit it big when they won the BBC's "When Will I Be Famous?" contest in 2007, catapulting the Chilli Pipers to international fame, with covers of Coldplay's "Clocks," Queen's "We Will Rock You."
